The specially designed Pihlakodu care home in Tabasalu is set in the heart of nature not far from Tallinn.
Its almost 200 residents are looked after with the dignity they deserve by carers and health care staff. The home features spacious living areas which come with all the latest fixtures and fittings, offers a wide range of services and has its own kitchen, library, sauna, salt chamber, massage room and rooms for other procedures. There is also a large space for concerts and other events.

Local government compensation, i.e. costs related to personal care is 851€. Starting from July 1, 2023, under the care reform, local governments will cover personal care costs based on the established price limit (including labor costs of caregivers and assistant caregivers, their work clothing and personal protective equipment, health checks, vaccinations, training, and supervision costs).
NB! We cannot provide services to people carrying ESBL, MRSA, or tuberculosis.
The cost of the care service includes the following: accommodation, meals 4 times a day, laundry once a week, 4 diapers per day, hygiene aids, and the possibility to participate in leisure activities. Caregiver assistance also includes supervision to ensure safety.

The address of our Pihlakodu facility in Tabasalu is Klooga mnt 13.
We are located 14.2 km from the Viru Keskus shopping centre bus terminal in the heart of the city.
By car it takes 20-25 minutes to reach us via Paldiski Highway, turning onto Rannamõisa Road after passing Rocca al Mare. We are located 3 km from the centre of Tabasalu.
From the Viru Keskus shopping centre bus terminal, take bus no. 108(A), 122, 126, 127(A), 128(A) or 129 (A). Our facility is located exactly halfway between two stops, ‘Tabasalu’ and ‘Mere tee’, from which it is a 3-6 min walk to the nursing home.
